“One cannot not communicate” runs the well-known axiom of communication by Paul Watzlawick. Competent communication, however, requires technical know-how, experience and the ability to relate to a wide variety of situations and interlocutors. This is true of communication in the same language, and even more so when it comes to exchanges across linguistic and cultural boundaries.

As a conference interpreter at technical conferences, science symposia, political talks, business summits and many other events I have been successfully employing these qualities for bridging the gap between languages and cultures.

Written translations, mainly in the fields of art and culture, the humanities and science communication complete my professional profile.
